About Molten Steel

     As you have probaly guessed, our team name is Molten Steel and our team number is 4993. Molten Steel is apart of the FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) program. The top tear competition for First, FRC is a perfect union of sports and engineering.

     Following strict rules, teams of students must fundraise for money, design their team “brand”, work together seamlessly, and build and program a robot to perform specific game related tasks. All while under the pressures of limited resources, time limits, and a huge field of competitors. Mentors volunteer their time to guide teams on their track to success.

     A mash-up of sports, technology, advertisement, business, engineering, media, and sales, FRC is as close to running a “real-world business” as a student can get.

Molten Steel is made up of 4 subteams: Build, Media, Programming, and Buisness teams

 

The subteams are made up of

two people on the build team,

one person on the business team,

nine people on the media team,

and no one currently on the programming team.

 

Why We Joined Molten Steel Robotics
